Meet Solo, a stray who has spent his entire life exploring Los Angeles' streets. He finally grew too old and unwell around the age of 11 to run around the streets with the other dogs. As a result, he was forced to remain on a woman's porch until assistance arrived. When the woman found the old dog residing on her porch all by himself, she gave him the name Solovino, which is Spanish for "he arrived alone" and implies "he lived alone." After a few days, Solo was still living on the woman's doorstep, so she called the Rocket Dog Rescue. He was transported to San Francisco by plane after the rescue center decided to adopt him. Solo was soon placed in a foster home, where he spent the next 1.5 years. He was adopted out on several occasions, but he was always returned.     The pitiful street dog's reaction to being stroked by strangers! His apparent message was, "Dog, I'm a kind one!" Wait a moment before you leave. He is no longer a stray dog because of the kind women that phoned Fahrudin Caki Bravo and assisted in saving this street child. The most incredible thing there is is the sensation. simply nothing! For six days, Fahrudin Caki Bravo did everything in his power to help the large, amiable guy locate his house and leave his life on the streets in the past. In five days, he will get his first injection of an infectious disease vaccine!   This is Max, the “Yellow Labmarine”! To say he likes water is the understatement of the century. Any chance he gets, he’s dipping and diving and getting totally submerged! At first, Christine got scared and was more than ready to jump in and get him. But it turns out he just thinks he’s a mermaid! 😀 Christine adopted Max from a foster, and he was extremely overweight. Because of this, he had a hard time walking. So they took to the water for some physical therapy, and that’s where the beast was created! Today he’s healthy, active, and the correct weight for his size… He’s just suffering an identity crisis! 😉

  The wounded puppy lay motionless in the road as the Animal Aid Unlimited rescuers arrived on scene. They noticed the puncture wounds on his neck, and they had to lift him carefully. He was dying and needed immediate help, so back to the animal hospital they went… Here they would do everything in their power to save the little one. They started off with some pain meds and a fluid IV, and then a cleaning of his wounds to get him on track to heal. The dog was exhausted and couldn’t stand, and the next day his whole head had swollen. He would need help eating, but soon enough he was taking some wobbly steps on his own! And just wait until you see what Ray’s up to today. 🙂

  Dixie has all kinds of nicknames: “The Yoda Dog,” “Dobby the House Elf,” “The Flying Nun,” and even “Gremlin Gizmo.” And it’s all because of her giant ears that look as if she’s ready for takeoff at a moment’s notice! Her parents just happened to be the perfect combination of breeds to make it happen… If her ears are held up, she looks like a German Shepherd. When forced down to the sides of her head, she looks like a Bloodhound. Her human mama had to know for sure and ran a DNA test for the dog’s 12th birthday, and wouldn’t you know it… A German Shepherd/Bloodhound mix! Dixie is so unique, and Danielle wouldn’t change her for the world! 🙂

  When the rescue received a video of a tiny brown puppy abandoned in the snow, they rushed to the scene to save its life. Animal rescue is challenging. They get countless requests for help. But in this case, a puppy was all alone in the freezing temperatures so, within 40 minutes, they arrived where the puppy was supposed to be. They looked for the puppy along a building and hoped they’d find it before it was too late. But the puppy wasn’t at the place that was shown in the video so all they could do was keep looking and hope for the best. Finally, they found the puppy shivering in a corner. The puppy was too weak to run away. So, they picked him up, wrapping him in one of their coats to try to warm him up until they could get to the vet’s office. The puppy was malnourished, weak, and had a low temperature. But he was now in good hands and getting the care he needed. There was no way he could have survived much longer on his own.
